Sound surrounds us, yet often slips into the background. I wanted to create a space where people notice it through their bodies and become part of what they hear.

The acoustic corridor and subtly rising floor mark a change in pace. Visitors are invited to slow down and notice small sounds - footsteps, breath, and movement - before entering the more responsive spaces.

Sit within a circular listening space. The proposal combines sound, seating vibration, and overhead patterns so that listening can be felt and shared.

Making vibration visible.
Amplified sound vibrates a water dish. A ring light reveals the patterns; a camera and projector enlarge them onto the ceiling.

I used TouchDesigner to explore sound-driven, cymatic-inspired patterns. Audio input is mapped to a changing visual output, testing a digital approach to the room’s visual language.
